Cam Uptime Alerts is a connectivity-awareness convenience, not a security system, alarm, or life-safety device. It tells you when a Ring device reports offline/online. It does not monitor what your cameras see, cannot prevent any event, and must not be relied upon for safety or security.
Alerts depend on Ring's connectivity reporting, your network, and push/email delivery, all of which can be delayed or fail. A device may be offline before you are notified, or an alert may not arrive at all. Do not treat the absence of an alert as confirmation that everything is working.
